Geräucherter Aal mit Zwiebeln (Druckversion)

Ein leckerer offener Sandwich mit geräuchertem Aal und würzigen eingelegten Zwiebeln auf knusprigem Brot.

# Zutaten:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices of crusty bread (sourdough or rye)

→ Fish

02 - 200g smoked eel, sliced

→ Vegetables

03 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
06 - Salt, to taste

→ Garnish

07 - Fresh dill, for garnish

# Anleitung:

01 - In a small bowl, combine the sliced red onion, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
02 - Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
03 - Layer the smoked eel on top of each slice of toasted bread.
04 - Top with the pickled onions and garnish with fresh dill.

# Hinweise:

01 - For added flavor, consider spreading a thin layer of cream cheese on the bread before adding the eel.
02 - Serve with a crisp white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc.
