# Anleitung:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment, allowing overhang on two sides.
02 - Combine flour, sugar, and salt for the base in a large bowl. Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Mix in the egg until just incorporated. Press dough evenly into the prepared pan.
03 - Blend brown sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, allspice, and black pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly onto the base, then gently swirl mixture into dough using a knife.
04 - Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the streusel in a bowl. Stir in melted butter until clumps form. Distribute streusel evenly over the chai spice layer.
05 - Bake for 32–36 minutes, until the top is golden and set. Cool completely on wire rack in the pan.
06 - Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bars if desired. Lift bars using parchment, cut into 16 squares, and serve.
